This place suits me perfectly! I enjoy the free wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and coffee shop. The staff helped me with local info during my first stay, which I still remember. Highly recommend it for business trips!

Good value city centre hotel. Rooms comfortable and very clean.
The internet does not work more than 5 minutes per day. If all you need to do is collect your mail, and you have the patience then this hotel may be ok for you. If you need the internet for anything longer than 5 minutes per day then you should try elsewhere. It is a shame because everything else about the hotel is fine.

I enjoyed the location because I several activities near the Puerta de Toledo, but I was still a 10-15 minute walk to the Royal Palace and Plaza Major.
No real complaints. The room was clean and basic. Important to keep in mind that the hotel is an older building so as should be expected the walls are thin. Only recommendation I would make is to offer a better selection for the breakfast buffet. The selection is a bit limited for the price.

fantastic access to central attractions and parks
I spent three nights here, and the hotel is just a short walk to both the fine Prado National Museum and the beautiful El Retiro Park. Plus, it's near a metro station that makes getting around super easy.

The room was very clean. The hotel is located 1 minute walk from metro. It's about 15-20 minutes walk from Sol. A good sound isolation from outdoor noise. though the inner noise can be a problem.
The breakfast was not good. I never thought that even cheese can be not tasty. But this was the case. Another thing is bad sound isolation within the hotel - you could hear very well if anyone used hairdryer. The room was small, however I used the hotel only for sleeping, so it was not a big issue.

Good location,15 minutes walking to the city center. Close to Atocha train station. English-speaking reception stuff, quite helpful also.
Poor breakfast, quite small rooms but still good enough for 1 person, quite dark rooms as well if the room overlooks the inner courtuard.

The price is affordable. There are some restaurants nearby. The room is very small, but nice and clear. The street parking nearby is quite easy, which means you probably don't have to pay $17 for the private hotel parking (but you have to pay for the street parking during weekday and Saturday morning). There is metro station in walking distance. The internet access is free. The clerk I met speaks very good English and is very helpful.
I like the hotel, but if I really need to say something, I would say the room is small and that's it.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the metro, and we spent an amazing day exploring La Latina, especially enjoying the local vibes during the street party. The staff was always accommodating.
My kids wished there was a quieter room option for families, as noise from other guests was at times disruptive.

Excellent knowledge of the English language. The hotel has a stylish look. The rooms are not so big, but are quiet and offer the needed comfort.
The hotel has a private underground parking place, though the parking places and the parking garage itself are extremely small. Parking there will be extremely difficult or even impossible with a slightly bigger car.
